Fife Coast & Countryside Trust Celebration & Commemoration programme launched!

Friday, March 28, 2014
We're inviting Fifers who've made special memories in Fife’s great outdoors to mark them for years to come in an environmentally positive way!

We're offering you the chance to celebrate and commemorate events, pastimes and loved-ones with the siting of hand-crafted benches and the planting of native trees.

As well making a treasured personal gesture, paying for these memorials will help to enhance Fife’s much-loved coast and countryside and make it more accessible and enjoyable for those who follow in your footsteps.

Carefully chosen species of trees native to each location will provide food and habitats for local wildlife and can have an optional laser engraved wooden plaque attached. The benches are handcrafted by a Fife social enterprise from locally-sourced timber, each with an optional personalised, laser engraved, dedication.

For more details about the marking your time around our beautiful countryside and coastline, including prices, visit our Celebration and Commemoration Programme page, or pick up a leaflet here at the Harbourmaster’s House next to Dysart Harbour.

All costs include a donation to support our charitable aims and develop new initiatives.
To discuss your requirements and arrange a site visit with one of our countryside or coastal Rrangers, please call 01592 656080 or email
