Landslip at Rock and Spindle between St Andrews and Boarhills

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

Dangerous Landslip at Rock and Spindle between St Andrews and Boarhills:

Grid Ref;  NO 540 158

There is a small but potentially dangerous slip of rock and mud on a narrow section of the FCP overlooking the geological feature of the Rock and Spindle.

This slip overhangs a sheer drop on to the beach below. Please be aware the hazard is compounded by the precence of grazing cattle using the area.

Please follow any diversion on site. We will attempt to repair this slip as soon as possible. Please be aware of the hazard and the potential for the diversion signage to be knocked or blown over.

If you need any further advice please contact us at The Harbourmaster's House on 01592 656080 in the first instance.

Your consideration is appreciated.
