Hanna Rennie

Conservation Officer

My role as a Conservation Officer  involves planning and leading on projects and managing sites across the whole of Fife including Craighall Den SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and Coul Den Local Nature Reserve. I work closely not only with colleagues within the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, but also with external community groups, organisations, land managers/owners and other stakeholders.

The environmental conservation tasks I carry out range from wildlife and species monitoring to biodiversity improvements and habitat management. One of my favourite aspects of the role is being able to meet and work with our amazing volunteers on practical conservation tasks, which are so important to enhancing and maintaining Fife’s unique natural heritage.
