All are welcome to take part in some local conservation work, picking up litter from the Rosyth woodland and Whinny Burn. The woodland is home to many species of birds and there are several fish species living in the burn, so we want to help them thrive by keeping their environment clean.
No experience is necessary as we will show all you need to know, but a moderate level of mobility and fitness is required as we will be out picking up rubbish for several hours. Refreshments will be provided. Appropriate tools and personal protective equipment will also be provided.
Children are welcome with an accompanying adult.
As this event involves you volunteering your time it is of course free. But please book your place so we know who is coming along.
If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of the meeting place.
If you cancel your tickets, which have an associated payment/donation, you will be responsible for paying the Eventbrite administration fee.
