In early 2024 I joined FCCT to manage the Access and Recreation team. This team ensures that access to our outdoor places is safely maintained and that we engage with the public to help them enjoy the outdoors in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Iām also responsible for liaising with landowners and other stakeholders of our coast and countryside.
I graduated in law and have had a varied career including operational roles in mental health and homeless charities. My outdoors skills were honed in the Cairngorms where I learned how to build and maintain upland footpaths.
Iām originally from Kirkcaldy and I know the Fife Coastal Path quite well, which is one of the reasons I wanted to work at FCCT. Iām looking forward to getting to know the other fantastic sites we look after and meeting people who share a passion for caring for these places.
