Burntisland Beach

This sandy beach with rock pools is located to the east of Burntisland overlooking the Firth of Forth. It is a popular beach, due to its proximity to the great range facilities close by and excellent transport links.

Close by is the Beacon Leisure Centre, which that has a 25 metre swimming pool with flumes and a wave machine. Other facilities nearby include seaside park, crazy golf course, bouncy castles, picnic tables and the annual summer fairground.

As the tide goes out it exposes a huge area of sand and mud flats, which stretch out to the Black Rocks. At an extreme low tide it is possible to walk to Pettycur Beach.

Burntisland has won a Keep Scotland Beautiful 2023 Beach Award.
