Robert Boughen

Community Tree Planting Officer

I joined FCCT in October 2024. My role involves engaging with communities and key stakeholders across Fife to help plan and deliver tree planting, increase canopy cover, and improve inter-connectedness of habitats. This is all as part of the Fife Climate Forest project.

I have a background in research and engagement, holding a PhD in Communications and Sociology from the University of Westminster. More recently, I have worked as a ranger in the Cairngorms and have previously worked with FCCT as a Countryside Warden. I’m glad to be back in the Kingdom again! My passion is in connecting people with nature.
