All are welcome to take part in some local climate action, planting trees around Roscobie Reservoir, near Dunfermline.
We are planting on Thurs 5th and Fri 6th December from 9am to 4pm. Feel free to attend one or both sessions.
A large number of young trees are being planted around the reservoir to supplement existing trees, increase canopy cover, enhance natural beauty, and establish habitat for wildlife.
Trees are essential for people, wildlife, and the environment and are one of the best ways to tackle the climate crisis.
No experience is necessary as we will show you all you need to know. Appropriate tools and personal protective equipment will also be provided.
Booking your free place is essential. Refreshments will be provided.
If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of the meeting place.
If you cancel your tickets, which have an associated payment/donation, you will be responsible for paying the Eventbrite administration fee.
Thanks to our partners Scottish Water, Climate Action Fife, Fife Climate Forest, National Lottery Community Fund, Shared Prosperity Fund Nature Finance and Fife Council.
