At low tide Elie Harbour Beach links with Elie’s Earlsferry Beach, providing almost a mile of uninterrupted golden sand. It is popular with families and is also famed for watersports. The sheltered bay means it is not too windy so is good for beginners who like to try windsurfing, canoeing and water skiing.
Facilities include toilets, lifeguards and first aid (seasonal), disabled access and parking.
Elie Harbour Beach holds a Keep Scotland Beautiful 2024 Scotland’s Beach Award.
Elie Harbour toilet (seasonal opening) has been recognised in the national Loo of the Year Awards.
