Hello, I’m Fiona Corps, and I’m a councillor for the East Neuk and Landward Ward here in
Fife. My ward covers the beautiful beaches and and coastal villages around our coastline
including Kingsbarns, Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans and Elie. I feel so
incredibly lucky to have the Fife Coastal Path on my doorstep.
I have been a councillor for just over a year now, and I’m passionate about preserving and
enhancing the natural beauty and heritage of our region.
I was delighted to join the FCCT Board of Directors last year, and I’m currently working to help reduce fishing waste and
plastic pollution on our beaches.
As a councillor, I have been involved in various initiatives
to improve the quality of life and well-being of our residents, such as supporting local
businesses, promoting tourism, and enhancing community engagement. As a board
member, I have been collaborating with other stakeholders to develop and implement
strategies and policies to protect and restore our coastal environment and will continue
to do so.
In my spare time, I love exploring the outdoors with my family and dogs. I also enjoy
swimming in the sea, and paddle boarding.
