I work for Keep Scotland Beautiful and currently I manage the communications function, including overseeing the delivery of our communications plan β maximising external media output, website news content, social media strategy and the production of external publications.
I have held a number of roles with the charity, co-ordinating coastal campaigns, delivering a litter and fly tipping contract, and managing the team which administered the Clean Up Scotland campaign, the Beautiful Scotland and Itβs Your Neighbourhood activities, Beach Awards and Green Flag Award for parks.
Before joining Keep Scotland Beautiful I was a Corporate Communications Officer with Scottish Water, where I led on external media relations and education awareness campaigns for the environment team.Β Prior to this I spent two years working as a reporter for a local paper in East Lothian.
I have a BSc in Marine Biology and Environmental Science from St Andrews University.
I joined the FCCT board in June 2014.
