Community Tree Planting Officer

My new post has been created as part of a Climate Action Fife project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund.

I’m working with partners and communities to rapidly increase the area and diversity of Fife woodland as a response to the climate and ecological emergencies.

Over the next five years this partnership will help communities to plant trees so that people benefit from improvements in the quality of their environment, enhanced wellbeing and increased opportunities for developing skills. I’ll be developing a Tree Planting Strategy for Fife and providing support to make community woodland and orchard planting happen.

I’m motivated by making sure everyone has an opportunity to experience nature and make a difference to their local environment. If you’d like to plant trees in Fife please get in touch!
