Yvonne McKie

Environmental Policy Support Officer

I joined the Conservation and Engagement team at Fife Coast and Countryside Trust in 2022, having previously worked in a range of conservation, education and administrative roles. 

In my role as Environmental Policy Support Officer, I am working in partnership with Fife Council’s Greenspace and Planning Officers to carry out quality assessments of Fife’s open spaces (greenspaces and civic areas within/on the edge of settlements) and play areas.

The audit work, covering more than 450 open spaces and 600 play areas throughout Fife, will be used to inform the development of Fife’s Open Space Strategy and Fife’s Play Sufficiency Assessment.
