Join us for an evening exploration of the nocturnal world as we set out on a guided bat walk around the Pitcairn Centre and the beautiful Coul Den Local Nature Reserve.
As dusk falls, we’ll use handheld bat detectors to listen in on the incredible ultrasonic calls of bats as they emerge to hunt. Along the way, you’ll learn about the species found locally, their behaviour, and the important habitats they rely on at this time of year.
This relaxed, family-friendly walk is a great way to discover wildlife after dark and experience the reserve at night.
