Come on a guided walk to Torry Bay in West Fife with Conservation Officer Craig. An event run with Wellbeing Through Heritage West Fife. Discover the sights and sounds of the mudflats and find out about the wildlife that lives there.
We will explore the coastline at Torry Bay to discover the birds that make the Bay their winter home. As the sun begins to set, we hope to see the spectacle of hundreds of pink-footed geese coming in to roost for the night.
Depending on tides, we will walk the coastline around Valleyfield Lagoons, Newmills and Torryburn to get great views over the mudflats and estuary.
No experience is needed to join in, and all ages are welcome. Binoculars and telescopes will be provided. There is ample parking at the start of the walk.
The route is on paved and trail surfaces and is suitable for wheelchairs.
Please wrap up warm for the weather. We will cover up to 5 miles depending on the route we take which may vary depending on the location of the bird life!
