‘Letter to the Tree’ Book Launch and Tree Survey Showcase

What does a tree mean to you?

Join Climate Action Fife and the Atopon Collective to celebrate ‘Letter to the Tree’ — a community anthology of love letters, remembrances and heartfelt tributes to the trees that have shaped our lives.

Collect your free copy of the book and hear how an invitation to write to a tree sparked stories from across Fife and beyond, from children discovering trees on their doorstep to people writing about beloved trees from homelands far away.

The evening also introduces Fife Climate Forest’s new Tree Canopy Survey. This is a citizen science project giving local people the tools and training to build the most detailed picture of Fife’s urban tree cover ever created. Find out why it matters and how you can get involved.

Our event is free to attend and everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a lifelong tree enthusiast, a curious newcomer to climate action, or someone who simply loves a good story, this evening is for you.

Teas, coffees and refreshments provided by Eats Rosyth Living Room Café!

If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. This will ensure we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.

If you cancel your tickets, which have an associated payment/donation, you will be responsible for paying the Eventbrite administration fee.
