Scottish Tree Folklore (Online)

Learn about Scottish tree folklore with Fife Coast and Countryside Trust and Fife’s Gaelic Officer Kirsty Strachan. In this one and a half hour talk we will be looking at some of the wealth of stories and beliefs associated with Scottish trees.

Through these tales we will be able to see the historical importance trees have always held in Scotland and consider their place in Scotland today.

This free session is open to anyone with an interest in tree planting in Fife.

There will also be an opportunity to find out more about Fife Climate Forest, volunteering with Fife Tree Wardens and how you can take part in climate action this spring through tree planting.

If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of how to join the session online.

If you cancel your tickets, which have an associated payment/donation, you will be responsible for paying the Eventbrite administration fee.
