Join our Conservation Officer, Craig, for a guided walk around Coul Den Local Nature Reserve on the northern edge of Glenrothes. We will see what wildlife can be spotted and share top tips for identifying the creatures that make the reserve their home.
Find out about the reserve’s history, the way we currently manage it, and possible future projects.
Learn how you can help Fife’s nature by recording what you see when you are out and about and the apps you can use to help you.
No experience is needed to join in, and all ages are welcome. Binoculars are available to borrow. The route is on a good woodland path, but has some steep sections. Please wrap up warm for the weather.
There is ample parking at Coul Den. There are no public toilets. Final details will be emailed to those who sign up a few days before the event.
This event is free but should you wish to, and are able to do so, a donation is welcome to go towards the conservation and maintenance work of Fife Coast and Countryside Trust. We suggest £10 for a group of four, or £5 per individual.
If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080.
If you cancel your tickets, which have an associated payment/donation, you will be responsible for paying the Eventbrite administration fee.
