Winter Tree ID with Gaelic and Scots Names (Online)

This free online talk will give you the opportunity to identify a variety of native Scottish trees in winter. And you will gain an understanding of the Gaelic and Scots names of these trees.

Armed with these skills, participants will hopefully leave with a greater understanding of the natural world around us and a basic understanding of Scotland’s native languages in relation to trees.

This free session is open to anyone. We are delighted to be joined by Kirsty Strachan, Fife Council’s Gaelic Officer.

There will also be an opportunity to find out more about Fife Climate Forest, volunteering with Fife Tree Wardens and how you can take part in climate action this spring through tree planting.

If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of how to join the session online.

If you cancel your tickets, which have an associated payment/donation, you will be responsible for paying the Eventbrite administration fee.
