Global company’s donation helps maintain Fife Coastal Path

Fife Coastal Path’s value to local communities has once again been recognised by global fleet brand Enterprise Mobility. The company has made a £7,500 donation to Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT).

FCCT were nominated to receive a donation by David Rodger,  Fleet Strategy Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland. The company sets aside a percentage of its profits for distribution by the Enterprise Foundation. Staff are invited to suggest worthy recipients.

David explained: “FCCT are a fantastic charity who support the communities in which we operate – Cupar and Kirkcaldy – and who provide valued opportunities for our team to use their volunteer days. For example, our team was at Dalbeath Marsh in the spring, helping to restore habitats by removing invasive woody vegetation like brambles, gorse, and saplings.

“Personally, Fife Coastal Path is a resource that I use multiple times a year to exercise with my family and our energetic dog. It’s a lovely way to access a beautiful part of the world. And, more often than not, a near guaranteed escape from the rain of Glasgow!”

Our connection continues

Jeremy Harris, CEO at FCCT, commented: “I’m delighted that our connection with Enterprise Mobility is continuing with volunteer days and another generous donation and we’re very grateful.

“Fife’s coastline is ever-changing. These funds help us maintain it, improve it and share it with locals who love it and tourists who discover it.”

Donations and volunteering help FCCT to maintain and manage Fife’s special outdoor places.
