Torry Bay Local Nature Reserve & Preston Island

Torry Bay has international status for wading and wintering bird life who inhabit the artificial lagoons which are built from ash from neighbouring Longannet Power Station. The reserve is part of a larger area of inter-tidal mud flats covering between Longannet Point and Crombie Point.
