Tesco Bags of Help Scheme

Fife Coast and Countryside Trust ‘Fringe of Gold Beach Cleans’ has been selected to be part of the ‘Tesco Bags of Help Scheme’, customers at the following Tesco Stores, Cupar, St Andrews Metro, Glenrothes and Cardenden, can show their support for our project from Wednesday 1st May 2019 to Sunday 30th June 2019.

The monies we receive from this scheme, will enable us to purchase additional litter picking equipment, which will be utilised by community groups and organisations, involved in helping to maintain Fife’s beautiful outdoor spaces.

In the year to March 31st 2019 volunteers carried out 107 litter picks, the majority were on beaches around Fife’s ‘Fringe of Gold’. In total volunteers contributed 7735 hours of their time to help to present the Fife’s coast and countryside in the best possible light. To find out more about becoming an FCCT Volunteer or events you can get involved in visit our volunteers page.

We are delighted to be part of this scheme and hope that you will be able to add your blue token to our project.
