Kirkcaldy Seafield Beach

Kirkcaldy Seafield Beach is a sandy, rock pool filled beach to the south of Kirkcaldy overlooking the Firth of Forth.

Seafield is an accessible, quiet beach on a bus route, just 20 minutes walk from Kirkcaldy bus station. For information on public transport visit Traveline Scotland. Parking is available on the Kirkcaldy promenade and there is limited parking at the beach itself.

You can watch seals basking in the sun from the Fife Coastal Path just 10 minutes walk south of Seafield, and listen to the seabirds as they soar above the waves.

Seafield Beach was recognised in the Keep Scotland Beautiful 2024 Scotland’s Beach Awards. Our ‘Fringe of Gold’ Beaches leaflet can be downloaded from the Resources section of our website.
