Kirkcaldy Seafield Beach

Kirkcaldy Seafield is a sandy beach to the south of Kirkcaldy overlooking the Firth of Forth. When the tide is out, it has lots of rockpools that are fascinating to explore. It’s a quiet beach that’s right on the Fife Coastal Path.

Seafield is a 20-minute walk from Kirkcaldy bus station. Visit Traveline Scotland for public transport information. The beach has its own parking area and other car parks are not far away on Kirkcaldy promenade.

You can watch seals basking in the sun from the Fife Coastal Path just 10 minutes walk south of Seafield, and listen to the seabirds as they soar above the waves.

Kirkcaldy Seafield Beach was recognised in the Keep Scotland Beautiful 2024 Scotland’s Beach Awards. Our ā€˜Fringe of Gold’ Beaches leaflet can be downloaded from the Resources section of our website.
