The Red Squirrel Walk

The Red Squirrel Walk is a gentle walk through mixed woodland with picturesque views of the nearby Lomond Hills. As the trail meanders through the woods, you may catch a glimpse of a red squirrel or a roe deer amongst the oak trees. The route is mostly made up of firm wide gravel paths, with a gentle gradients and a few short bumpy sections.

The Red squirrel is an iconic species, which is under threat due to pressures on its habitat and competition from the Grey Squirrel.
