Supporting family wellbeing through therapeutic experiences in nature
Nature Nurture helps families flourish through shared experiences in the natural world. Working with parents, carers and children in P1 to P4, the programme creates opportunities for families to play, explore and learn side by side in local nature spaces.
Through games, play and nature-connection experiences, families are supported to discover the Five Ways to Wellbeing in action, from connecting with each other and their community to taking notice of the changing seasons and learning how nature can support emotional regulation. As confidence grows, so too does a sense of belonging, with nature providing a calm and welcoming space for families to spend meaningful time together.
At the heart of Nature Nurture is the belief that people and nature thrive through reciprocal relationships. As families experience the restorative benefits of the outdoors, they are also encouraged to care for the natural places around them, nurturing a sense of stewardship that can grow for years to come.
The learning and connections developed through the programme extend beyond our time together. Families gain a deeper understanding of themselves, each other and the natural world, building skills, confidence and connections that will support them into the future.
