Community Tree Planting at Dunnikier Park

All are welcome to take part in some local climate action! Join us for some tree planting in Dunnikier Park, Kirkcaldy to help make this local greenspace even better for people and nature.

Come along and get stuck in – no experience is necessary and we will show all you need to know. Tools, PPE and refreshments provided. Over the past 3 years, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust have worked with Dunnikier Development Group to plant trees in the park at various community events.

We will be continuing this effort by planting trees of different species and sizes in specific areas of the park – and we’d love your help to get them in the ground. Trees are essential for people, wildlife, and the environment. Planting trees and looking after them are fantastic ways of getting outside into nature and helping to tackle the climate crisis.

Booking is essential. The session is free but please tell us you’re coming along. Children very welcome with an accompanying adult. There is no requirement to stay for the full duration of the session.
