Fife Coast and Countryside Trust Statement -24th March 2020

Publish Date: Tuesday March 24, 2020

In response to the challenges of COVID–19, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust must change the way we work for a period of time to protect the health and well-being of everyone.  All of our offices including our main office at Harbourmaster’s House, Dysart are now closed.

We have taken the decision to safeguard our staff, volunteers and the public by restricting the amount of time they spend on site. To help us to continue to manage sites, we would ask members of the public to use sites close to their homes; to take their rubbish home; and to highlight any issues they encounter eg. Damaged walkways, wildlife issues, overflowing bins.

Either message us via Facebook Messenger or ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk, and please give us as many details as possible, including the cause for concern, a detailed location, and a photo if necessary. We suggest using the What3Words App to identify locations that are hard to find. We anticipate a high volume of calls and emails at this time, so please be patient and we will endeavour to respond to any issues as quickly as we can. These are exceptional times and we ask that you help us to look after each other and Fife’s coast and countryside through responsible use of our sites.

Thank you
