Moorland Bird Survey training day

Interested in birds? Why not get involved in our Moorland Bird Survey in the Lomond Hills.

Small groups of volunteers will be allocated an area of the Lomond Hills Regional Park to survey and, hopefully, gather some valuable information about our amazing birdlife. We would be looking for a commitment of three dates to ensure the project works. We hope this will be a regular annual survey.

The training date will be on Friday 1st May at our Kinghorn Office and two surveys in the Lomonds will take place on Fridays 8th May and 5th June.

Read about last year’s survey.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact Meg Moore, FCCT Volunteer Coordinator at meg.moore@fifecountryside.co.uk to sign up as a volunteer and register your interest.
